Mississippi Mud Texas Sheet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. Crisco
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix together sugar, flour, salt and baking soda and set aside. In a separate saucepan mix together water, Crisco, butter and cocoa.
Bring to a boil and pour over flour mixture and beat well. Add vanilla, eggs, and buttermilk.
Beat again and pour into well greased pan, 15 x 10 x 1. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
