Dorothy'S Easy Time Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling (you can use apple or blueberry)
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add lemon juice; then mix in flour gradually and well.
    Pour into greased jellyroll pan.
    Mark batter into 24 squares and place some filling in each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Remove. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar after you've cut into 24 squares.
