Piselli Al Prosciutto(Peas With Italian Ham) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium thinly sliced onion
    1 (1 lb.) bag frozen peas
    1 c. mushrooms (optional)
    1/2 c. Prosciutto, finely cut
Preparation
    Put olive oil in a heavy saucepan.
    Add medium thinly sliced onion.
    Cook until golden color.
    Add peas; cook at medium heat until peas are firm.
    Do not overcook.
    Add ham and/or mushrooms. Cook another 3 to 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle with minced parsley leaves, if desired.
    Serves 4 to 6.
