Lo-Lo Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

vegetable cooking spray
1 lb. 93% or 96% low-fat ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped green pepper
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans no salt stewed tomatoes, undrained and chopped
1 (16 oz.) can no salt kidney beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can no salt tomato sauce
1 (1 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. paprika
1 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
Preparation

Coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray.
Place over medium-high heat until hot.
Add ground beef; cook until browned, stirring to crumble.
Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
Wipe drippings from Dutch oven.
Recoat Dutch oven with cooking spray.
Add onion, green pepper and garlic.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until tender.
Add ground beef and remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Yields 9 servings (278 calories, 7 g fat).
