Overnight Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 c. sugar (scant)
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 head cabbage
2 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Heat together vinegar, water and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Add seeds.
Shred cabbage; sprinkle with salt.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Toss with cooled dressing.
Let stand 24 hours.
