Aunt Cindy'S Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) bag of frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 pint sour cream
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except cornflakes and 1/4 c.
    butter and mix well.
    Pour into a buttered 9x13x2 baking dish.
    Combine corn flakes and melted butter and sprinkle over top of potatoes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves twelve.
