Aunt Mary'S Easter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 stick oleo
    1 cake yeast
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 to 6 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 box raisins
Preparation
    Put oleo in 1 cup scalded milk.
    Take other 1/2 cup milk and let cool.
    Add yeast and let this dissolve 5 minutes.
