Shrimp Fried Rice(Com Chien Tom) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooked rice (must be fluffy and dry, use long grain rice)
    1 lb. small size shrimp, peeled and deveined *
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. ketchup
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. m.s.g.
    1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Put cooked rice in a large bowl to cool.
    Beat eggs with 1 teaspoon salt in a small bowl.
    Pour 1 tablespoon oil in hot skillet over medium-high heat.
    Stir in egg mixture; scramble and break into small pieces until quite dry.
    Remove from heat and set aside.
    Pour remaining oil in hot skillet over medium-high.
    Stir in minced onion and the shrimp.
    Stir until shrimp is cooked, approximately 5 minutes.
    Add rice, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, ketchup, garlic, soy sauce, cooked eggs and m.s.g.
    Stir constantly until the ingredients are well blended and thoroughly heated over low-medium heat for about 10 minutes.
    Serve hot. Makes 3 to 5 servings.
