German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large potatoes, cooked in jackets
    3 slices bacon, cut in small pieces (I use 1 pkg. bacon)
    1 medium onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. cream (optional)
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes in bowl.
    Keep warm.
    Set aside. Brown bacon; remove from pan.
    Saute onion in bacon grease.
    Add flour and blend.
    Stir in vinegar, sugar, water, salt and pepper. Stir until thick like a white sauce.
    Add cream and bacon; pour over potatoes.
    Add celery seed while mixing.
