Frosted Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c butter
    3/4 c cornstarch
    1/8 t salt
    1/3 c confectioner sugar
    1 c flour
    1 T butter
    1 t almond extract
    1 c confectioner sugar
    2 T half & half
Preparation
    Blend first five ingredients until well combined.
    Form into small balls and refrigerate 1 hr.
    Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
    Flatten each ball with thumb.
    Bake at 350 F for 15-17 minutes.
    Cookies should be just golden on bottom and not at all browned.
    Cool completely.
    Mix next 4 ingredients, blend well, frost cooled cookies lightly.
