Drying Fruit For Decorations - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    apples or oranges
    juice of 2 lemons
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. water
Preparation
    For the apples, cut 1/4-inch thick and soak for 30 minutes in a brine made from the juice of the lemons, salt and water.
    Spread on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
    Bake 2 to 3 hours in a 200\u00b0 to 250\u00b0 oven.
