Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pound package hash browns
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1/2 cup (chopped fine) onion or onion powder to taste
    1 can Cream of Chicken soup
    2 cups shredded cheese
Preparation
    Mix potatoes and other ingredients and pour into a greased 11 x 13 baking dish. Top with 1/2 cup margarine (I reduce to 1/4 cup margarine). Add 2 - 3 cups of crushed corn flakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
