Hot Pumpkin Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. milk
    2 egg whites
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 can thick packed pumpkin
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat 1 cup sugar into egg yolks, then stir in milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring.
    Beat 3 tablespoons sugar into egg whites until they peak.
    Mix whipping cream, cinnamon, pumpkin and vanilla.
    Add to milk.
    Cool 3 hours.
    Top with egg whites.
    Add dash of nutmeg.
    Serves 8.
