Zucchini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon
    3 lb. zucchini, cut in pieces
    1 large onion, chunked
    1 handful parsley, chopped
    1 tsp. basil
    1 can beef broth
Preparation
    Cut up bacon; fry until crisp and drain.
    Mix all ingredients. Boil 1/2 hour.
    Put in blender; puree.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Use as a drink, hot or cold, or as a soup.
    Can be frozen.
