Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons nutmeg
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    3 cups milk
    2 tablespoons butter
Preparation
    Beat first five ingredients together.
    Heat milk and butter, but do not boil.
    Add to first mixture.
    Bake at 300 for 30 minutes or until firm-(texture of jello).
    Bake as custard or in 2 pie crusts.
