Michael'S "Foot Stompin" Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 lb. round steak (1/2-inch slices)
    3 dried red chili peppers, crushed
    3 (4 oz.) cans jalapeno peppers
    3 medium white onions, chopped coarsely
    Crisco
    tomato paste or corn meal to thicken (optional)
    2 cloves garlic, finely crushed
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    3 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste
    3 c. water
    3 bacon slices
    3 squirts Tabasco sauce
    2 cans pinto beans (drained)
Preparation
    Fry bacon strips and set aside.
    In bacon grease, fry onions and garlic until translucent.
    Strain onions and garlic and get rid of bacon grease.
    Fry pork in Crisco, then strain, saving Crisco.
    Fry round steak strips in (pork) Crisco.
    Drain steak and put pork and steak into large kettle.
    Fry ground beef with onions and garlic.
    Drain off grease and put beef into kettle with other meats.
    Add water, tomato paste and crushed fried bacon.
    Cook on medium heat.
