Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
1 stick oleo
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix in bowl the sugar, flour and salt. Mix in saucepan the water, shortening, oleo and cocoa. Bring water mixture to a boil; pour over flour and sugar and stir well. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Pour in 8 x 11-inch pan and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until done, approximately 35 minutes.
