Scottsdale Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    2 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. melted butter
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. melted butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter a 7 x 10-inch glass baking dish. Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Put into dish; mix cornflakes and 1/2 cup melted butter. Sprinkle over potatoes.
    Bake about 45 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
