Aunt Thom'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large eggs (separate and beat whites until stiff)
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising cake flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. plus vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add yolks.
    Mix all.
    Add flour, milk and vanilla alternately.
    After all mixed, fold in egg whites. Butter and flour tube pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
