Chef'S Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, washed and chilled
    2 1/2 c. strips cooked meat (ham, beef, etc.)
    1 c. cheese strips (your favorites)
    1/2 c. green onion, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. carrot curls
    2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    2 tomatoes, sliced in wedges
    8 to 10 slices bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
Preparation
    In large salad bowl, tear lettuce into bite size pieces. Reserve some of the meat and cheese strips.
    Toss remaining strips with onion, bell pepper, celery, carrots and bacon bits.
    Pour favorite salad dressing over salad and toss.
    Garnish with saved meat and cheese strips, egg slices and tomatoes.
