Candy Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 large box strawberry jello (dry)
1 can Angel Flake coconut
1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1 pkg. almond slivers
sugar
red food coloring
green food coloring

Preparation

Mix together and refrigerate overnight. Mix about 1/4 cup of sugar with red food coloring to make a red sugar crystal mix. Roll into balls and shape in strawberry size. Roll berry shape in sugar mix until lightly coated. Mix almond slivers with green food coloring and shake until the almond crystals are green. Stick slivers into the strawberry. Makes about 4 to 6 dozen.
