Guam Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon, chopped into small pieces
    3 garlic cloves, chopped
    1 c. chopped green onions
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 c. cooked, cooled rice
    1 c. ham, diced thinly
    1 can broken or chopped shrimp
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and pour off half the bacon fat.
    Fry garlic.
    Remove and discard.
    Fry onion in same fat.
    Remove and add to bacon.
    Spread eggs on bottom of pan as if preparing to make an omelet.
    Remove to plate.
    Add cold rice and stir until all grains are coated with grease and not sticking together.
    Add bacon, onion and ham.
    Mix well, always scraping bottom of pan to prevent sticking.
    Turn heat to low and add chopped egg pieces.
    Add shrimp.
    Remove from heat and serve. Makes 6 to 10 servings.
