Pastry For Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. Crisco
    cold water to make dough
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour.
    Add cold water to form dough. Place in container and cover.
    Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
    Roll and cut out.
    Place filling in half.
    Fork over and press edges with fork.
    Fry in hot shortening.
