Creamy Chicken Cordon Bleu(Low-Carb) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken breast halves
    6 slices ham (if you prefer, you can use 1/3 to 1/4 lb. shaved Virginia baked ham from the deli)
    8 oz. Gruyere cheese (I substitute Baby Swiss cheese; our store doesn't carry Gruyere)
    1/2 c. heavy whipping cream (can increase amount if you want more sauce)
    butter (to saut chicken)
    garlic powder to taste
    black or white pepper to taste
Preparation
    Pound chicken breasts until fairly thin; saut in butter over medium heat to brown nicely. Place all 6 breasts in a glass 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Top each piece of chicken with a slice of ham and then with a slice of the cheese.
