Florida Orange Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. orange juice
2 tsp. grated orange rind
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. orange sections, cut in pieces
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine juice, orange sections, rind, sugar and cornstarch over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
Cook 2 minutes. Remove and add small amount slowly to the 3 beaten egg yolks. Return to stove and cook 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat, add lemon juice and butter; let cool.
Pour in baked pie shell. Top with meringue; bake until done.
