Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green peaches
    6 c. brown sugar
    4 c. water
    1/2 c. Hawaiian salt
    1/2 tsp. Chinese five spice powder
    3 c. apple cider vinegar
    1 pkg. li hing mui
Preparation
    Wash
    and remove pits from the peaches.
    Peaches should be green
    and\tfirm.
    Mix
    brown sugar, water, Hawaiian salt, five spice
    powder and cider vinegar together in a large pot; cook until
    it
    boils.
    Add li hing mui; mix together.
    Cool. Mix
    with cut up peaches; store in sterilized jars.
    Refrigerate.
