Mama'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine or butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted plain flour
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Allow all ingredients to reach room temperature.
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating between eggs.
Sift flour and baking powder together.
Alternate adding flour, milk and vanilla.
Mix on high for several minutes until mixed well.
Scrape bowl and mix again.
Pour into greased and floured pan.
Place in cold oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
