Diabetic Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    1 c. currants
    1 c. unsweetened applesauce
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. non-caloric sweetener
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cook raisins and currants in 2 cups water.
    Remove from heat. Cool and add applesauce, eggs, sweetener and oil.
    Sift together soda, salt, spices and flour.
    Add fruit mixture and mix well. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
