Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and sugar.
    Add water and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Blend in flour and pecans.
    Chill 4 hours.
    Shape in balls or fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Remove from pan and sift confectioners sugar on cookies. Makes about 3 dozen.
