Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn meal (self-rising)
    1/4 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2/3 c. Crisco
    1/4 c. creamed corn
    1 c. whole kernel corn, drained
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped (optional)
    1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 Tbsp. crushed red pepper (for milder, only use 1 tsp.)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except cheese; put only part of cheese in mix.
    Save most to put on top.
    Bake at 370\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
