Moravian Scotch Cakes - cooking recipe

4 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. caraway seed
1 1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Mix the flour, sugar and caraway seed together.
Cut in the butter with a pastry blender or two knives until well blended. Roll out about 1/4-inch thick on floured surface.
Cut into small squares.
Transfer to greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
When cooled, spread with boiled icing and sprinkle with sugar.
