Zucchini Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. zucchini, peeled and shredded
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and beat well.
    Stir in zucchini; set aside.
    Combine flour, baking soda, spices, baking powder and salt.
    Add to zucchini mixture and stir until thoroughly combined.
    Stir in raisins.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool in pans for 2 minutes before removing to wire rack.
    Cookies are cake like. Makes 3 dozen.
