Famous Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oats (uncooked)
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat together butter, sugars, egg, water and vanilla until creamy.
Add combined remaining ingredients; mix well.
Drop by round teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
