Company Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small pkg. lemon Jell-O
3 c. hot water
1 (No. 2) can pineapple, reserve juice
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
3 bananas, cubed
1/2 pt. whipping cream (Dream Whip will work as well)
1 c. pineapple juice (other juice can be used or finish filling cup with water)
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
Cool.
Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows.
Chill in 9 x 13-inch dish until firm.
Heat pineapple juice in double boiler.
Add flour and sugar to beaten egg.
Mix with juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool.
Fold in whipped cream.
Spread over gelatin.
Shred Cheddar cheese generously over all.
Nuts may be added.
