Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Wash and core apples. Peel off collar around the top.
    Place in a baking dish.
    Put remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Pour over apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour. Apples will be soft but not mushy.
    Serve warm or cold.
