Herring In Aquavit Sauce(Brennevinsild) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) jar herring
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 oz. aquavit
dill weed

Preparation

Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, curry, pepper and aquavit.
Put herring pieces in serving dish; pour sauce over and sprinkle with dill weed.
