Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 carrot
    2 potatoes
    1 medium sized onion
    1 c. milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Dice potatoes and carrots.
    Chop onion.
    Put carrot, potatoes and onion in pan with 2 1/2 cups water.
    Cook until tender.
    Put cooked mixture through sieve or vegetable mill.
    Add milk to this puree.
    Place in double boiler to heat.
    Season.
