Quick Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks, beaten (save whites)
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks; cream in the sugar.
    Add exactly 3 tablespoons of cold water.
    Add vanilla, salt, flour and baking powder.
    In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into first mixture.
    Bake about 1 hour at 325\u00b0 or until firm to the touch and a delicate brown.
