Mae'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
3/4 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. brandy flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream together butter and Crisco.
Gradually add sugar.
Beat until fluffy, about two minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix next four ingredients.
Mix flour and baking powder.
Add 1/4 of flour mixture to butter, sugar and egg mixture.
Add 1/3 cup of milk.
Keep adding flour and milk alternately, ending with flour. Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until no longer doughy in the middle.
Use a tube mold.
