Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cucumbers
    2 gal. water
    2 c. lime
    10 1/2 c. vinegar
    9 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery salt
    4 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Soak cucumbers, water, salt and lime overnight. Rinse, then place in a large pot. Add vinegar, sugar and spices. Cook until thick, about 3 hours. Put into hot, sterile jars and seal.
