Pearl Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. box strawberry-banana Jell-O
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple (crushed)
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Put pineapple in pot and bring to a boil.
    Put in 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Take off heat.
    Pour on Jell-O and dissolve. Put in buttermilk.
    Set pot in refrigerator and cool.
    Stir in Cool Whip and nuts.
    Pour in pan and refrigerate.
