Filled Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. cream cheese
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    2 c. flour, measure, then sift
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. lemon rind plus a few drops juice
    pinch of salt
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Work all ingredients as for pie crust.
    Make dough into small balls, the size of a walnut or smaller.
    Place in bowl with waxed paper between layers.
    Refrigerate overnight.
