Peach Or Fig Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice (fresh) for figs or 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract for peaches
    1 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
Preparation
    Put fruit in 6 x 10-inch baking dish.
    Add lemon juice or extract; mix well.
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Beat egg slightly and add to sugar-flour mixture to make crumbles.
