Plum Kuchen(Or Whatever Fruit Is In Season.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 lb. plums
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together.
    Add remaining ingredients. Mixture will be doughy.
    Slice fruit on top of mixture; press slightly down.
    Bake in a 9-inch cake pan at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
