Cornish Hens & Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Cornish Hen halved or 1 whole Hen per person
1/2 c. Margarine
1 large Onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. dried Thyme
1-1/2 c. raw Regular White Rice
3 tsp. instant Chicken Bouillon
3 c. Hot Water
Preparation

Clean and prepare the quantity of Cornish Hens that are appropriate for the people being served.
Place in a 350 - 375 oven for 1 hour.
I put a bit of margarine on the outside of the hen and sometimes sprinkle it with Garlic Salt.
In a skillet, place 1/4 c. of Margarine, cook Onion until golden.
Put into a 2 quart casserole dish with a cover and set aside.
In same skillet, heat remaining margarine, brown the Rice so that it is fluffy and golden brown.
Add to the casserole dish.
Add remaining ingredients. Bake for 350 - 375 for 30 - 40 minutes.
