Black Forest Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix (dark chocolate or devil's food)
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    milk chocolate candy bar
    1/2 tsp. almond and vanilla
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
    Bake; cool on rack, then refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
    Take sewing thread and cut each layer in half to make 4 layers.
    Open pie filling and mix with almond and vanilla.
    Put first layer of cake on plate.
    Spread with Cool Whip; top with cherries.
    Put second layer on top.
    Repeat with remaining filling.
    Continue this.
    Put fourth layer on top.
    Ice with remaining Cool Whip.
    Garnish with shaved chocolate. Refrigerate until serving.
