Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 hog's head
    1 gal. chopped apples
    2 pkg. each: raisins and currants
    1/2 gal. cherries
    1/2 gal. other fruit
    1 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. sorghum
    spices (cinnamon, allspice and cloves to taste)
Preparation
    Cook the head; after all surplus fat has been removed, put through food chopper.
    Add other ingredients and cook until tender.
    Can while hot in sterilized jars.
