Jennifer'S Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. elbow macaroni
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. margarine
    1/4 and 1/8 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 lb. low-fat American cheese, shredded
    1 small onion, minced
    1 1/2 tsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Prepare macaroni according to package directions; drain. Place onion and 1 tablespoon margarine in small saucepan.
    Over medium heat, cook until tender.
    Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper; cook 1 minute.
    Slowly stir in milk; cook, stirring until smooth.
    Add 3/4 of the cheese; stir until melted.
