Bett'S Cabbage Rolls From Germany - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 large heads cabbage
    3/4 lb. bacon
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 can mushroom soup
    2 carrots
    1/2 green pepper
    3 celery sticks
    4 lb. hamburger
    2 c. bread crumbs or rice
    1 large can V-8 or tomato juice
    1 large can tomato paste
Preparation
    Wilt cabbage and set aside.
    Fry bacon with chopped onion until brown and set aside.
    In blender, add carrots, pepper and celery sticks. Add mushroom soup after vegetables are chopped. Add chopped bacon and onion to hamburger.
    Add mushroom soup and vegetable mixture. Add bread crumbs or rice.
    Make cabbage rolls and layer in roaster pan.
    Mix V-8 juice and tomato paste.
    Pour over rolls. Cook, covered.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 35 to 45 rolls.
