Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/4 c. sliced green onions
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook squash in small amount of water until just tender; drain. Mash slightly; drain again.
    Combine with sour cream, 1/4 cup margarine, onions, salt and pepper to taste.
    Place in a greased 1-quart baking dish.
    Mix together bread crumbs and cheese.
    Toss with 3 tablespoons melted margarine and sprinkle over squash. Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
    You can add 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheese to top of casserole.
